GotchiCloset is a free web app for Aavegotchi, the DeFi-powered crypto Tamagotchi game that lives on the Base network (migrated from Polygon in July 2025). What is Aavegotchi?
Aavegotchi is an NFT game where pixel ghosts backed by DeFi collateral gain rarity from wearables, kinship from care, and XP from governance. Gotchis compete for GHST rewards in rarity farming and battle in Gotchi Battler. Since July 2025 the entire protocol, including the Baazaar marketplace and GHST token, runs on Base.
Is GotchiCloset free?
Yes. GotchiCloset is free to use and works read-only with any wallet address: paste an address to preview wearables and stats without connecting. Connecting a wallet unlocks on-chain actions such as equipping wearables, Baazaar listings, and lending directly on Base.
Do I need to own an Aavegotchi?
No. You can explore all 300+ wearables, 150+ set bonuses, and trait guides without owning a gotchi, or borrow one through Gotchi lending and start playing with almost no upfront cost. When you are ready to buy, the Baazaar explorer shows live gotchi and wearable listings priced in GHST.
